We can also improve by reading presentation skills tips and advice on the web and in books. And here are some initial tips to help you enhance your presentation technique.
When first starting to create a presentation don’t jump immediately to PowerPoint. This is one on the last steps you should take.
Analyse who the presentation is aimed at - and speech. Ensure that you remember that the outcome will largely be as a result of what the audience do (or think) after your presentation the audience react topositively.
Thus think about who your audience are likely to be and what level of experience they will have. Then when you come to produce the presentation you will be able to use your background knowledge to ensure that what you say is compelling for them.
Then ensure that you understand exactly what you personally want to achieve from your presentation. Are you demonstrating something? Is it an informational presentation Do you want to receive their OK for your project? Whatever your reasons just, simply ensure that you fully understand them before you start working on the text of the business presentation.
Then with the above points in mind you can create a presentation that will be understood by the audience and addresses what you’d like to achieve too. If possible use the power of 3 in your business presentation structure. It’s a simple but also a very effective structure ? so try a beginning, middle and end. Split the middle section up into three smaller sections. One section for each of the key points you want to get across.

Now that you have the text of your business presentation completed it is time to consider visual aids. Don’t just use Powerpoint as a personal memory aid. The slides are there for the audience. Try and keep the slides you design as visual as possible. They are there to add to the presentation, not be the presentation itself. Also, reduce the number of slides to an absolute minimum.
Please remember, when you come to actually give the presentation, do not read off your slides, try and face the audience when you are presenting. And remember to smile!
