A mid-season, deciduous shrub with small to medium, red berries which are produced during summer on vigorous, Thornless plants. Very hardy and easy grow.

Care: Gooseberries prefer the morning sun with afternoon part shade in a soil with plenty of organic matter. Tolerates poor drainage. Requires less pruning than most fruits, every 2-3years. Performs best in a partly shaded position. Mulching is also beneficial and will help to retain moisture and reduce weed. Growing to a height of 1.2m and a width of 1m
