A highly sought after lemon which bears heavy crops of round, medium, golden yellow fruit over several months. The skin is think and the flesh is full of juice and is less acidic than other lemons. This early bearing lemon is a compact, evergreen tree with glossy green leaves, and fragrant, cream-white blossoms.

Uses: Lemon Cordial

Grate the rind from 6 lemons and then squeeze the juice. Dissolve 1.5kg sugar, 30g tartaric acid, 30g citric acid and 60g Epsom salts in boiling water. Mix in the grated rind and juice. Before serving, dilute with water to taste.

Ideal for tubs in courtyard, or espaliered along a sunny wall. This dwarf lemon can also be used as an ornamental tree. The highly nutritious lemon juice can be squeezed and added to drinks or to flavour Thai dishes. The fruit and the zest is ideal for garnishing.

Care: Ideal for growing in cooler areas. Performs best in a sheltered, sunny position in well drained soil. Avoid deep cultivation to prevent root damage and water well in dry weather. Apply a slow release fertilizer in early spring and late summer. Prune in late spring to remove weak growth.
