Loganberries produce a large, aromatic berry, red to purple colour that is produced on a thornless, trailing vine, during early summer. The flavour of the loganberry is unique and often too tart to be eaten fresh.

Use: This fruit is excellent and well suited for jams, pies, tarts and many other cooked desserts.

Care: Thriving in a full sun position, in a moist, well drained soil. Apply rich organic matter to retain moisture and curb weed growth. Canes should be pruned to 20-30cm high during spring to encourage new growth in the spring.
